In this study, the effect of heat treatment conditions on abrasive wear and surface properties of borided AISI 1030 steel was analysed. Boriding was made at 900, 950, 1000 and 1050 oC, in 2,4 and 6 hours by using EKabor®2 powders. Borided layer phases were investigated by microsutructural image analysis.
